Clouds have always fascinated me and I have been particularly pleased with the cloud displays in the Columbia Gorge. Today is just an ordinary day with feathery wisps of clouds passing through from some upper level disturbance. The random lacework they created was enhanced by the clear, deep blue sky. There were no contrails to interfere with images and the skies were clear of any smoke.
During this period, I have seen photos on the Internet showing mountains such as Mt.Everest and Mt. Fuji being surprisingly visible due to clear, unpolluted skies. There have even been photos of L A with clear, blue skies overhead. It’s possible!
Do we really want to go back to the way it was before the shutdowns or is there a better way?
